ISO14001:2015 Environmental Policy
Philosophy
Toyo Seiki Kogyo shall act with awareness that preservation of the environment is an issue shared among all of humanity, work to protect the environment, and pursue production activities that are in harmony with the environment.
  1. Toyo Seiki Kogyo Co., Ltd. shall specialize in the design, manufacture, and sale of machine tools, manufacture of automotive parts, and design, manufacture, and sale of semiconductor manufacturing equipment, and shall take technological and financial steps to identify the effects such processes have on the environment, and build management systems based on ISO14001 in order to make continuous improvements and prevent environmental pollution.
  2. Environmental effects shall be assessed, and environmental purposes and goals shall be set and/or revised.
  3. Toyo Seiki Kogyo shall observe all applicable legal requirements related to the environment, as well as any other requirements that have been consented to.
  4. Preference shall be given to the following items for preservation of the environment:
      (1) Treasure natural resources and energy.
      (2) Manufacture environmentally-friendly products.
  5. The environmental policy shall be put in writing, distributed to all employees,and disclosed to the general public.

   Participation in city clean walk
  Cleaning activities (garbage collection) along the road from the Toyo Seiki Kogyo Headquarters Factory to Factory No. 3 are held three times each year.
Participation in the public forest
"Silviculture Festival"
Toyo Seiki Kogyo participated in the Chino-shi public forest "Silviculture Festival" by planting and trimming trees.
Participation in the Ecocap Campaign
Employees collected and recycled the caps from plastic bottles at work and at home to raise money for the purchase of vaccines.
